In House U6 Peewee

The In-House league of the Highland Soccer Club consists of players ages 4 through 8. It does not promote competition and no statistics or game scores are kept. All players receive trophies for their effort and participation. This is a coed league divided into two divisions and sanctioned by    S.A.Y.

Players ages 4 and 5 play a short game 4v4 with no goalie. The goals are similar to that of hockey. The players get exposed to the fundamentals of soccer and have a lot of touches on the ball.

Game Standards

• Game duration - 4 x 8 minute quarters
• Ball size - 3 or 4
• Goalie - none
• Format - 4 v 4
• Kick ins instead of throw ins
• Maximum roster size - 8
• Scores/stats - none
• Fouls - all indirect
• Offsides - none
• Field size - 25 x 20 yds

In House U8 Instructional

Players ages 6 and 7 play 5v5 with a goalie. Each player gets exposed to every position on the field. Teamwork, rules, and sportsmanship are emphasized.
