NWISL Birthday Rules:
To be able to play on a U8 Rec+ team, you must have had finished a season of U8 in-house prior.
(NOTE: You are allowed unlimited players on U-14 team that are U-15 age as long as they are in 8th grade.)
Special Play-Up Rules:
IN THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES, PLAYER MAY ONLY MOVE UP ONE AGE GROUP!!!!!
- A player that misses our cut-off date, but is in the same grade as players in the age group above them may play up. (They can never play down, if too old)
- A player may move up if there is no space available for them to play in their age group. Please note: If space becomes available the next season, they must move back down TO THEIR AGE GROUP)
- If needed to combine a group from one age group to another to get enough players to form a team (example : you have 5 U-12’s with no team and 7 U-14’s with no team, then you may combine to form a U-14 team. Please note on roster so that they are placed in low division)
Reasons NOT Accepted (for playing up):
- Player Skill
- Wanting to play for coach in older age group
- Sibling convenience
Special Request:
Any individual requesting to play up will have to fill out a NWISL play up request form which will then be submitted to NWISL after approval from Highland Soccer club Elected board members. No exceptions can be made!
We try our best to grant your request but NO requests are guaranteed. You can not request a day, time, or location to practice. That will be determined by your team's coach.
